Yorkshire Forward has part-funded the Yorkshire & Humber Seafood Group to increase
competitiveness, help develop new
products and maintain and create jobs
across the region.
The group is working with businesses on new product development and
marketing proposals to develop niche markets for seafood products.

The group is the only industry-led body representing the total seafood chain – from ‘boat to throat’ – & chaired by the industry for the industry.
Project Manager
Yorkshire & Humber Seafood Group
As project manager with the Yorkshire & Humber Seafood Group I oversee the day to day running of the Group. This involves project co-ordination, liaising with industry groups and individual companies, reporting to funding bodies and attending meetings with industry bodies such as the Marine Fisheries Agency an executive agency of DEFRA, Seafish, other Regional Groups and Organisations.
